A recent client of ours applied for relief from a weapons disability that arose from a felony conviction several years ago. Originally the court denied Holmes of possessing a firearm but our attorney, Douglas Brannon, brought forth his case to the court and proved he was, in fact, eligible to possess a firearm and that the trial court had erred. The decision is located below and will explain why and how Mr. Holmes was able to have a firearm despite his previous felony conviction.
